RETURNS AND REFUNDS
We hope you are delighted with your purchase. However, if you change your mind or decide that an item is unsuitable, please follow the procedure below.
CHANGE-OF-MIND RETURNS
You must notify Posh Pony Equestrian that you wish to cancel or return your order within 14 days beginning the day after you receive it.
After notifying us, you must return the item within a further 14 days. Please contact us at poshponyequestrian@gmail.com before returning anything so that we can provide the correct return instructions and address.
Unless the item is faulty, damaged on arrival or incorrectly supplied, the buyer is responsible for arranging and paying all return postage, courier charges, insurance, customs documentation and any other costs associated with returning the item to us.
We strongly recommend using a tracked and appropriately insured delivery service. The buyer remains responsible for the item until it has been safely delivered to us. We cannot accept responsibility for returned items that are lost or damaged in transit.
CONDITION OF RETURNED ITEMS
Customers may inspect an item only as they reasonably would in a shop. Returned products must be handled carefully and should be returned with their original packaging, labels, accessories and instructions wherever possible.
Items must not be ridden in, washed, altered, damaged or used beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect their nature, appearance and fit.
When trying a saddle pad, numnah, half pad or similar product on a horse, you must place a clean saddle cloth, numnah, towel or other suitable protective layer between the product and the horse. The product must not be placed directly onto the horse’s coat.
Returned equestrian products must be free from horsehair, dirt, dust, mud, sweat, grease, stable odours, pet hair and other marks or contamination.
If an item has been handled or used beyond what is reasonably necessary and its value has consequently been reduced, we reserve the right to make an appropriate deduction from the refund to reflect the actual reduction in value. If the item has been used, soiled or damaged to such an extent that it has no resale value, the deduction may amount to the full purchase price where legally permitted.
Please do not clean or wash a product before returning it, as washing or cleaning may constitute use or alteration. Contact us first if you are uncertain.
REFUNDS
We will inspect all returned items before processing a refund.
Refunds will normally be processed within 7 days of receiving the returned goods. Refunds are less the original shipping cost as these costs are not recoverable unless the item is proven faulty, damaged on arrival or incorrectly supplied.
Any permitted deduction for diminished value will be explained to the customer.
FAULTY, DAMAGED OR INCORRECT ITEMS
If you believe an item is faulty, damaged on arrival or different from the item ordered, please contact poshponyequestrian@gmail.com as soon as possible.
Please provide your order number, a description of the problem and clear photographs or video showing the item, its packaging and the reported fault. Please do not continue using an item after discovering a possible fault, as continued use could cause further damage.
We may ask you to return the item so that it can be inspected. Where an item is confirmed as faulty, damaged on arrival or incorrectly supplied, we will provide an appropriate remedy and reimburse reasonable return costs in accordance with applicable consumer law.
Damage arising from misuse, accidental damage, normal wear and tear, failure to follow care or manufacturer instructions, unsuitable cleaning, unauthorised alteration or ordinary deterioration is not considered an inherent product fault.
HORSE CLIPPERS AND BLADES
Before clipping, please switch the clippers on away from the horse to ensure that both you and your horse are comfortable with their sound and operation.
For hygiene and safety reasons, used clipper blades cannot be returned merely because the customer has changed their mind. This does not affect the customer’s rights where an item is proven faulty.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS, CUSTOMS AND IMPORT CHARGES
International delivery times are estimates only unless we have expressly agreed a guaranteed delivery service in writing. Customs clearance, border inspections and local-carrier delays are outside our direct control.
The recipient is responsible for checking and paying any import duties, customs charges, local taxes, brokerage fees, clearance fees or other charges imposed by the destination country, unless expressly stated otherwise during checkout.
These charges are imposed by the relevant authorities or carriers and are not included in our product or delivery prices unless specifically stated. Posh Pony Equestrian does not control these charges and cannot predict their amount.
Import duties, taxes and customs or carrier fees paid directly by the customer are not collected by Posh Pony Equestrian and cannot be refunded by us. Customers may need to apply to their local customs authority or carrier for any available reimbursement when returning an order.
International customers making a change-of-mind return are responsible for all return-postage and customs-related costs. The parcel must be clearly and accurately declared as “RETURNED GOODS” and must include the original order details and any customs information we reasonably request.
Customers must not incorrectly declare the parcel as a gift or misstate its contents or value. If avoidable customs charges arise because the return has been completed incorrectly, we reserve the right, where legally permitted, to deduct those charges from the refund.
If an international delivery is refused, abandoned or left uncollected, we may deduct the actual return-to-sender charges, customs fees and other costs incurred from any refund, where legally permitted.
EXCLUSIONS
Unless faulty, cancellation rights may not apply to goods that have been made to the customer’s specifications, clearly personalised or altered at the customer’s request, where permitted by law. Any applicable exclusion will be explained before purchase.
YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS
Nothing in this policy excludes or restricts any consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded. If there is any conflict between this policy and applicable consumer law, the applicable law will take precedence.
